Get Growing: A Day of Garden Workshops
​Saturday September 12,2020    9:30am -3:00pm
​Beginner to intermediate

​Cabin fever has hit and you're dreaming of the best yard ever for 2020!!! Come learn from the professionals in a day-long buffet of classes, in just one Saturday right before the season begins.  Sneak a peek at all we have to offer for the season, lots of information to take home, and plants with every class.

​Limit 75 ​​so register early

​$59 per person, includes a light lunch, a swag bag full of handouts, a box full of plants, and special purchases available.  All classes will also demonstrate putting combinations together, watering techniques, possible pests and garden plans/examples.

Edible Forage
​We will meander through the herb and edible areas, eating along the way and discussing care needs, tricks and benefits to eating clean.

​House plants and Tropical plants
​We will discuss care needs, new varieties, new combinations and benefits of growing indoors and out.

​Long term Succulent Care
​Learn how to take cuttings, multiply succulents, new varieties, new combination plantings with other more traditional plants with similar needs.

Deer Resistant tactics and plants
​Discuss planting strategies to help combat persistent deer populations, including garden layouts, plant selection, mechanical deterrents and fencing options.

​Bee/Pollinator plants and care 
​Making the best plant selections and garden plans to help our local bees and pollinators thrive. 

​There will be plenty of time to ask questions and shop the entire greenhouse.
